Changes-This years of 2020 ipl is going to be thrilling and exciting.This year the ipl season is going to begin on 29th march 2020.In this 2020 ipl season there will be certain new Rule called conscious substitute .In this rule if a player is injured he can be replaced by any player of that team who will be able to ball,bat,and do wicketkeeping.But this has to be done under the care of match refree.

IPL ALL STAR MATCH-in this ipl season there will a post charity match in which CSK,RCB,MI & SRH best player will make a certain team and the another 4 teams will make another team of best 11 player and the money they will earn during the match will be given as charity.

Power Player-The Power Player concept fundamentally changes the dynamic of a team. Rather than the team management deciding upon a fixed playing XI prior to the match, they will select a pool of 15 players. This would allow the team to substitute players at the fall of a wicket or in between overs, so long as the substituted player is part of the pool of 15
For example-Imagine you need 20 runs off the last six balls and you have Andre Russell sitting in the dugout as he wasn’t a hundred percent and wasn’t part of the original XI. But now, he can just walk in and go slam-bang and win you the game.

Time-There will be no changes in the timing and the match will begin at 8pm IST.The matches will start from 30th march and it's final to be held on 24th may.(due to coronavirus ipl has been POSPONED and matches may start from September)

New grounds-A new ground Barspara cricket ground of Guwahati will be going to be a 3 match home ground for RAJASTHAN ROYALS (RR).
