Coronavirus, spread from China, has caught countries around the world including India. In India, the number of infected with this virus has crossed 4000. Today is the 13th day of 21 days of lockdown in the country to stop the spread of Corona. The markets are closed. Trains, buses, airplanes, taxis, nothing is going on. In such a situation, the government is considering opening the lockdown in a phased manner from April 15. Meanwhile, there are also reports that the government has also prepared Plan B to break the spread of Corona. Under this, lockdown can be announced again after May 15.
According to a report by India Today, this point was also discussed in the Group of Ministers (GoM) meeting held on 3 April. In the 16-member meeting chaired by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and in the presence of Home Minister Amit Shah, Plan B was discussed in detail to break the transition of Covid-19.
According to the report, the government believes that about 40 percent of the critical care equipment is needed to fight the corona epidemic. However, as long as the health care infrastructure is handling the situation, there is nothing to worry about.
A report by 'India Today' also said that the central government can remove the lockdown in a phased manner from April 15. During this time, the supply of essential things will continue as before, but social distancing has to be followed in every situation. Even if the lockdown is removed, cinema halls, food courts, restaurants, and religious places may be kept closed. Only shops of essential goods will remain open in the mall.
The entire emphasis of the government is not to allow any form of congestion anywhere after April 15. All the precautions of the present time will also be strictly followed later. This includes everything from leaving the group to sanitization.
The central government is monitoring the situation that arises after the lockdown. Apart from this, the government can announce another relief package to improve the economy that has fallen due to the lockdown. The government is considering in this direction. However, no final decision has been made on this yet.
However, no final decision has been taken on any of these points. They are just discussed in the GoM meeting. However, one thing is clear that the government knows very well that things will not be normal after April 15. In such a situation, whether or not the second phase lockdown will be imposed from April 15, it will depend on how many cases of corona infections occur during this period.
